
Bill Gauld has held senior level positions, in multiple industries over the past 25 years and 5 years ago founded Management Partners consulting firm which has been engaged in a broad range of businesses.
Bill’s experience base began in Manufacturing, shop operations and logistics. His experience ranges from shop floor union member, to Manufacturing Manager, Logistics and Shipping Forman to IT Project manager for Manufacturing and Engineering and then into senior management. Over the years he has been CIO for multiple fortune 100 companies including GE divisions, Textron, and Sony.
At Sony Bill also had responsibility for global supply chain and logistics. During his time at Sony, SonyStyle eCommerce was launched including the full distribution organization to support eCommerce sales. In addition to this global experience, he was also CIO and SVP of Shared Services (including Sourcing, Supply Chain and distribution logistic) for Pearson PLC (London). From 2005 to 2011, Bill was SVP of Enterprise Services for Ingersoll Rand and responsible for the global operations of the Financial, Employee and IT services, global Engineering and Technology Centers, Corporate Information Technology, Corporate Real Estate, Aviation and the Ingersoll Rand Business Operating system.
Bill has also been a member of the board of a NYSE company Interactive Data Corporation (IDC) which provided investment pricing for mutual funds and illiquid investment instruments. He has also been a member of the Board for Tavant Technologies, a privately held firm in the Software Development, Integration and Support. Tavant focuses on Financial Services, Warranty, Ecommerce and Analytics. Bill has also been an advisor to Predictive Analytics firm, Guavus.
In 2011, Bill founded Management Partners, a unique boutique Technology and Business consulting firm. Over the 5 years of consulting, Bill has help businesses in Retail, Building Supply and Distribution, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Education, Consumer Packaged Goods, Oil and Gas, and Quick Serve Food. These assignments range from Due Diligence for Private Equity firms, IT assessments, major software and platform selections (ERP, CRM, BI, etc.) and Implementation, to IT strategy for Digital future and ongoing advisor to C suite and Board of directors.
